GEORGE W COVEY 1927-2003

Today would have been my father's 81st birthday. In 1986, I won tickets to the MLB All Star Game at the Astrodome in Houston TX. We went to the team hotel before the game and got lots of autographs, including Lefty Gomez. Here are photographs of Dad outside the Dome before the game and the roof of the Dome from the inside.

FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY, MY SON AND I FOLLOWED OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY TO THE 2002 HOUSTON BOWL AT RELIANT STADIUM IN HOUSTON TEXAS. OSU WON OF COURSE. THE ASTRODOME IS IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE EXTERIOR PHOTOS.
