OKLAHOMA 2A BASKETBALL SEMI-FINALS
On Friday, March 13th, we attended the Oklahoma Class 2A basketball semi-finals at Southern Nazerene University in Bethany OK. In the first semi, Talihina defeated Fairview and in the second semi, Pawnee downed Oktaha. Pawnee went on to beat Talihina in overtime on Saturday for consecutive state championships. Congratulations to Coach David Page (father of Oklahoma State's outstanding freshman guard Keiton Page) on his 500th victory and 5th state championship.

2008 ALL COLLEGE BASKETBALL
The 2008 All College Classic basketball tournament featured Oklahoma State University defeating Rhode Island 86-82 and the University of Oklahoma beating Virginia Commonwealth University 81-70.

OKC THUNDER PRACTICE

OLYMPICS - SHANNON MILLER
Shannon Miller, the most decorated gymnast, male or female, in US history, lived and trained in Edmond Oklahoma. In the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, Shannon won a total of 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, in addition to 9 World Championship medals.
In 2001, a statue was dedicated in Shannon Miller Park in Edmond.
